The Dance

We dance through the night,
A soft carress here, a light touch there,
It feels so right,
Its almost more then I can bear.

In the end she holds me close,
And I can no longer breath,
She has the sent of a rose,
I wisper in her ear do you love me Beth?

She pulls my ear to her lips,
they brush gently, and it starts to take it toll,
I grab her beautiful hips,
I pull her close as she wispers "With all my soul!"

How I long to go back to that night,
But it is gone, I can not live in the past,
I will once again find a light,
So into the river once again my line is cast.
