I see you in my dreams and its like your still alive
but when I wake up, I wish you never died
all I really wanted was a chance to say goodbye
looking at your pictures, trying not to cry
but I know that your in heaven looking down on me
so when I dream its like your standing right here next to
me
single set of footsteps, you put on your shoulders
giving me a reason to live when the days get colder
you gave me something to be proud of
the family around us, the love that surrounds us
thats whats aloud us
to keep our faith in one another, so we'll ever have
to wonder if its gunna be alright
cause I know that its gunna be alright
you had a soul that shinned, oh so bright
